ODM to Choose Between Abbas, Imwatok for Majority Leader Seat
Raila Odinga’s Party ODM has signaled all Azimio MCAs that soon he will give them the majority leader rendering a list that had proposed Peter Imwatok .
Imwatok had earlier been designated for the seat but ODM has since cancelled the decision He now faces South C MCA Abbas Khalif in race for the seat.
“Baba asked those who want that seat to stand up and it attracted four MCAs Abbas, Imwatok, Stazo and Rex Omole though Rex and Omole are all behind Abbas..so it’s now a two horse race but what I can assure you Abbas mobilized well .” A source said.
Same applies to majority whip seat.
Initially ODM designated Kilimani MCA Moses Ogeto but that was contested and the race is now between him and Babadogo ward MCA Geoffrey Majiwa.
“The final letter will come from the party and all these will end though I can tell you Abbas has strength,” an MCA said.
