Kenya Ports Authority’s [KPA] show stand is in line with this year’s Mombasa international exhibition theme.

KPA chairman of the show committee Peter Odero said the state cooperation has a variety of things that will be displayed during the five-day event in line with this year’s theme which is promoting climate smart agricultural and trade initiatives for sustainable economic growth.

He said there is need to sensitize the show goers, school-going children and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

“The show goers will be explained the role of the state corporation during the five-day event,” he pointed out.

Peter said the authority is complemented every year   during the event.

He was addressing journalists at the KPA stand during this year’s pre show ahead of the Mombasa international show at Mkomani show ground in Nyali constituency in Mombasa county.

The KPA show committee chairperson told the media this year’s event is the 50th edition for the authority to take part.

Peter told journalists the state cooperation is happy to be involved in such activities. 

He added that the ASK events are a major milestone with the authority’s activities.

“The shape of the KPA stand is a vessel which is in line with it’s operations along the ocean,” he explained.

Meanwhile, nominated Mombasa member of county assembly Solomon Ngugi at Humanity Disability Centre  and who is representing persons living with disability [PWD], said their stand is making its second  appearance at the exhibition since the ASK Mombasa international show was initiated.
