in the presence of nine Independent Representatives (IRs) from Mombasa, .

The home – which started in 2003 – has since been run through the donations of well-wishers from across the region and currently accommodates 44 children.

“Throughout the years, we have supported over 80 children who have come through our doors and are now either independent in their jobs or have settled down through marriage – that is a blessing to witness,” said Fatma Abeid, organization.

Among the various items donated to the children’s home included sugar, maize flour, wheat flour, salt, rice, tea leaves, soya beans, cooking oil as well as toiletries like soap and toothpaste. Also included for the children were pampers, sanitary pads and stationery.

“This is a very well received by the home and the children. In a home marred by challenges with water supply and food, this act of kindness will go a long way in putting a smile on the faces of the young ones,” beamed Mama Fatuma in the presence of nine Independent Representatives (IRs) from Mombasa, .

Of all the children housed under the establishment, the youngest is three months old, while the oldest is 17 years old.

“We are grateful to The Almighty for providing us, through QNET, an opportunity to be of service to the less privileged. After all, it is in the service of others that we are truly serving Him,” said one IR from Mombasa, Simran Anil Sultan.

While the home is appreciative of the gesture, Mama Fatuma did share its concerns and sought out support in the sectors of education and medical, owing to a handicap of funds to adequately provide for their own.

QNET is rapidly establishing itself in the East African market, with data from the company in October, 2021, ranking Kenya as the market leader in the direct selling industry in the region. Furthermore, in December, 2021, QNET CEO, Malou Caluza, shared that wellness products took the lead in East Africa sales, with Kenya ahead of its neighboring nations. The multinational company estimates that the wellness market will balloon by 30% year-on- year in East Africa, with wellness now being considered a top priority in many homes.
