Safaricom Investment Co-operative To Complete Phase One Of The Miran Residence By Mid-2024

Safaricom Investment Co-operative is on course to complete its luxurious, urban, residential project, The Miran Residence. Construction of phase one of the project is expected to be complete by mid-2024, with phase two of the project set to start by the end of 2023.

Phase one of the project, which sits on 1.2 acres of the 3.5 acres of the land, comprises 200 units of studio, studio lofts, one-bedroom, two-bedroom apartments ranging between KES 3.2 million to KES 6.5 million.

“At Safaricom Investment Co-operative we are keen to deliver on our promise and The Miran Residence will not be short of this promise. The project is on course, and this has been enabled by our dedicated contractors, and the technology we are using to construct the houses,” said Safaricom Investment Co-operative Unit Manager Housing, Daniella Nyakuraya.

The Miran Residence will use aluminium formwork technology which entails forming a cast panel in place of concrete structures in a building. Forming of the cast of the formwork can then be used to replicate the rest of the building, making it faster, more efficient, and cost-effective.

“With the aluminium formwork, we are able to complete one floor within 7 days giving a very clean finish and an extremely durable structure. With this technology, our clients are assured of quality products and a project that will be completed at the specified time,” added Ms Nyakuraya.

Currently, the studio lofts are 100% sold out with clients expressing delight at the design that is unique and very suitable for single individuals or those looking to invest in the recent high demand of Air BnB investments.

The open day created an opportunity for investors to come and see the progress of the project, ask questions, and share their comments. The off-plan project has made it possible for the investors to take their time in paying for their investment during the construction period. The Society has also partnered with financial institutions to ensure their members are able to achieve their dream of owning a home without any constraints.

The Miran Residence is located 20 minutes from the city suitable for those avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city.
