Sakaja to create Nairobi Revenue Authority to increase revenue collection

Nairobi City County Director Parking, Frederick Ndunyu together with Senior Parking Officer for Nairobi area and Eastlands Anne Wanjiru Wanyoike Alias Buibui, today mobilised the county revenue team to ensure the collection of revenue is enhanced.

Governor Sakaja Johnson has urged Nairobi residents to embrace cashless payments of services by using *647# to pay for all Nairobi City County services

“We will launch the Nairobi Revenue Authority in accordance with the Financial Act. We need to increase our revenue. Currently, we are at Sh8 billion, and our target is Sh20 billion in the first year, then increase it to Sh30 billion in the second year.” Sakaja Said.

Parking Services has is one of the County Departments which has been producing higher revenue incomes for the County Government since Governor Johnson Sakaja came into office.

This has been attributed to good supervisory works under Anne Wanjiru alias Buibui among other hardworking officers.
