The Principal Secretary State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria on Monday 27 presided over TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) CEO handing over at TVET CDACC offices.

The auspacious occassion witnessed the outgoing CEO Mr. Joseph Njau hand over the mantle to Prof. Who will be the New CEO TVET CDACC.

“The Kenya Kwanza Government is angling towards industrialization and its banking on the TVET sector to spur industrialization in Kenya. TVET CDACC plays a very key role not only in the TVET sector but also in ensuring that the Government realizes its industrialization agenda in Kenay. As the incoming CEO Prof. Kisilu Kitainge comes takes the mantle, I want to inform you that you have a big responsibility ahead of you. TVET institutions thrive as centers of excellence, equipped to address the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Together, we can uphold the values and principles that TVET CDACC stands for and build a stronger, more vibrant technical education ecosystem. partnerships with industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and international organizations to enrich our programs, facilitate knowledge transfer, and enhance the employability of our graduates.
Collaboration remains at the core of our endeavors.” Said Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria Principal Secretary State Department for Technical, Vocational Education.

TVET CDACC plays a very key role in helping the government achieve its industrialization agenda.
The incoming CEO has the responsibility we fully skill our youth. The PS further emphasized on the need to skill the youth in our nation to ensure social and economic development.

The chairman of the Board Prof. Ahmed also thanked the outgoing CEO for his efforts of initiating alot of work like dealing with backlog of certificates witnessed ealier. He also added on need to start another cycle of reviewing the curriculum that exist.

The PS also thanked outgoing CEO for his tireles dedication towards achieving development and implementation of curriculum to education.
As we witness the transition I assure the CEO of cooperation with the state department of Technical Vocational Education Training and work harmoniously in realization of the Industralization agenda.

The outgoing CEO Mr. Joseph Njau thanked the team staff TVET CDACC, the board Chair
and thanked the CS Education for having faith on him to act as the acting CEO and also thanked the council. He also welcomed his successor to take the huge task and achieve the goals and objectives of TVET CDACC.

“It is a great pleasure to be here and restored as CEO and wish to reiterate my commitment of Kenya Kwanza dreams of Industralization and thank the Kenya President. I promise to forster team work and continue with the Journey that began with Mr Njau . We hope to continue with all matters TVET CDACC and the dream of the youth is the dream of hope and we shall continue with it. With humility I accept the responsibility given to me.” Said Prof Prof. Kisilu Kitainge incoming CEO.

(TVET CDACC) is mandated with design and development of Curricula for the training institutions , examinations, assessment and competence certification.
