Nimrod Bundi Stanley is the man to watch in the forthcoming general polls of Imenti North constituency.
Mr Bundi is vying on the Amani National Congress (ANC) party ticket. The entrance of the astute businessman is likely to complicate the matrix of those behind him.
In an exclusive interview, Mr Bundi highlighted some of his manifesto which include: Boosting local production using the locally available materials.
He opines that it’s a pity that in this day and age we still have to import basic commodities like toothpick and even toys.
He said that he will make North Imenti a small China by introducing local industries creating 90% local employment to the skilled youth in the subcounty.
“Once I get elected, I will lobby for local manufacturing using locally available materials like bamboo which is used to manufacture items such as furniture, bicycles and household commodities,” the sharp looking and witty legislator quipped.
He also plans to give education and infrastructure the greatest attention since it’s the key to achievements. “i will ensure equitable distribution of the bursary and source employment opportunities for the graduands,” he added.
He added, “I will improve our roads, install electricity and tap water to every household, start feeding programme in every public school through installation of green houses in every public school and hospitals.”
On employment, the focused legislator plans to create employment for over two thousand youths every year.
