1 dead,1 injured in Kaptama after Friday night attack

One man has been shot dead and another one injured on the leg after armed gang stormed a shop in Kaptama.
Confirming the incident, James Mugo OCPD Mt.Elgon Sub County said that one suspect was armed and has a gunshot on his right leg.
“The suspect Job Malilio is 26 years and hails from Kaboywo and I found him in possession of a G3 rifle behind the house of the deceased,” said the OCPD.
The suspect was first attended to at Mt. Elgon Sub-County Hospital where he was taken by local wananchi and later transferred to Bungoma County Hospital for further treatment.
His family members have not yet been traced but the police are still investigating the case.
The deceased was a clergy who was ministering at Gospel Peace Kaborom.
