“We stand here today on behalf of the approximately 300MPs to declare our total, unwavering commitment to the BBI. We are ready to proceed to popularize the report across the country. We have a schedule of activities that will culminate in a referendum,” Orengo read the statement on behalf of the participants.

Orengo said the report seeks to make sure no one is left behind by creating shared prosperity adding that the meeting also resolved to ensure that gender equity is achieved by making specific provisions.
