Allan vows to Remain Unbowed to Capture Mt.Elgon MP’s Seat

Mt. Elgon voters have been challenged to come out in large numbers and cast their votes wisely on August 9 so as to ensure the much desired change is realized.

Speaking at Chemworemwo area of Elgon ward, Allan Chemayiek MP aspirant Mt.Elgon called upon the area residents to ensure 100% voter turn out.

“Come out en masse and vote for me so that we can take an early lead and avoid many hinderances that come about with small vote differences like it happened during nominations,” Allan reinstated.

He further assured voters of his confidence in IEBC stating that the agency is vigilant and will conduct elections fairly and in a dignified manner.

“This time round we will guard our votes with our lives however, we should have no fear or doubt that anyone will use dubious means to steal my votes like it happened during party primaries,” the principal vehemently stated.

On his much talked about relationship with Deputy president William Ruto, Allan said that it will be a rosy affair for Mt. Elgon people if he clinches the seat since he enjoys intimate an relationship with the second top command in the country.

“Ruto is my confidant and long time ally and being sure he’ll be the 5^th President gives me hope that once I win this elections we shall work closely to elevate this mountain,” he reiterated.

He could not miss to punch out on the incumbent Fred Kapondi by stating that he refused to divide the region into 2 constituencies when he had the opportunity to do so.

“It’s unfortunate that Kapondi denied us the privilege to have 2 or even more constituencies when he was approached to sign the documents, this only confirms that he doesn’t have people’s interests at heart,” Allan lamented.

He further called upon residents not to live under threat revealing that some people have already taken to the woods in fear of election outcome.

“I’m a peaceful leader and strongly condemn leaders who are going round threatening voters to flee their homes if they don’t vote for them; we need peace during and after this electioneering period,” Allan concluded.
