Aspirants Flock Mwangi Wa Iria’s Usawa Party Days after Scrapping Nomination Fees

Political leaders aspiring various positions in the coming elections have flocked Murang’a County’s governor party few days after he announced free nomination.

Mwangi Wa Iria who will contest for presidency is the party leader of the Usawa.

As the Swahili word ‘Usawa’ means, Wa Iria stated that equity and equality are the key pillars of his party.

People from all walks of life have been seen visiting the party headquarters this week following the big announcement last week.

“I am privileged to register as a ward representative for Njoro ward in Nakuru county in the coming elections. I thank our party leader for waiving the registration fees, some of us could not afford even half of the registration fee but we have supporters on the ground,” said Alfred Nyanumba, an aspirant in Nakuru County.

Mwangi Wa Iria pledged to support the less fortunate in their campaigns.

The party has over 400 aspirants presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, women representatives, members of parliament and ward representatives.
