Coast region must tread carefully in President William Ruto ’s succession battle after the expiry of his two term tenure.

East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Member of Parliament (MP) Hassan Omari Sarai warned that when Ruto’s two term tenure comes to an end it won’t be business as usual in the country’s political scene.

He pointed out that people who contributed few votes during last year’s general election are enjoying the fruits of the Kenya Kwanza administration.

“The era of carrying people on our shoulders comes to an end with Ruto’s administration,” he warned.

Sarai added when Ruto ’s tenure comes to an end there will be no more carrying people on the shoulders.

The EALA MP said their agreement  was simply to ensure President Ruto wins last year ‘s polls compared  to those now enjoying the cream of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
