Confusion, Anxiety as Officials and a Foreigner Attempt to Tamper with 10kg of Mineral Consignment, 2kg Missing
An official from JKIA has been arrested after trying to work with a foreigner and a famous gold agent to tamper with some mineral consignments weighing 10kg.
Two kilogrammes from the consignment weighing 200kg is already missing and investigations are ongoing.
198kg of the consignment are still at the airport the source revealed.
Sources told our team that a gold agent, a foreigner and an agent at the airport attempted to steal the 10kg consignment before they were thwarted.
” Some 2kg from the 200kg has already been tampered with and they cannot be traced, an Australian and an agent from the Airport who works closely with the gold agent are behind the attempted theft of the said consignment,” said a source.
“Yes some of the officials have been bribed and helped in tampering with the consignment and one of the Airport has been arrested”, he added.
Cases of multi-million consignment being tampered with at the airport and at the port have been on the rise in the recent days.
