Daniel Nabaala Promises Accountability of Public Funds if Elected Narok Senator

Narok County is a county in Kenya with an estimated population of 1,157,873 in 2019, with the dominant ethnic groups being the Maasai and Kalenjin. Its capital and largest town is Narok.

The other major urban centre in Narok County is Kilgoris. Narok County is situated in the southern part of the Great Rift Valley.

His name is Daniel Nabaala aspiring Senator Narok County. The Times independently sought an interview with him.

“I’m committed to bring unity which is at the moment lacking in our county Narok. I also intend to reduce corruption which robs our county millions of shillings. I will be very keen in my oversight role to make sure the funds meant for Narok are not misused.”

Mr Nabaala is of the thought that his theme will be zero tolerance to corruption.

“As a senator, I will make sure that the allocated funds go to the purpose they are intended for through a close monitoring mechanism. I will also fiercely defend our land against intruders and grabbers and make sure farmers get the minimum guaranteed returns for their produce be it livestock or crop.”

On the issue of the Maasai Mara ecosystem, he believes that the proceeds have not benefited the people of Narok but The money ends up in a few individuals pockets.
