Women leaders have been congratulated for bringing to fruition the tenets and principles of gender representation as enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya.

Chief Executive Officer of Kikuyu Culture at the Coast Region Veronica Mungai has taken this opportunity to congratulate elected female leaders. She says

“Recently during our just concluded national elections we have Seen great development in women leadership. Having positions of high rank like governorship and parliamentary being won by women competitively is one of the major sign that democracy is real and great effort should be done to ensure that no regime should actually compromise with it. On behalf of all Kikuyu Women Community In Mombasa County I Congratulate this great Women Leaders who risked their lives and ensured female gender leadership is being Felt in our Country.”

She also called on Kenyans from across the political divide to keep peace even as the Nation eagerly awaits for the verdict of the Highest Court on the land, the supreme court.

“Our Nation is the land that God gave us and we don’t have a spare one. So it’s imperative that right from the leaders we observe the tenets of patience and keep peace. At no one point should division arise either on the basis of ethnicity or political affiliation. We are all one beloved Nation Called Kenya.
