Harambee Sacco Extends Hand of Generosity to KNH

HARAMBEE Sacco has today donated ten modern beds to Kenyatta National Hospital. The modern beds will serve more than 600 patients on a need basis.

KNH chief executive Evans Kamuri welcomed the kind gesture and said it will go a long way in enhancing service delivery.

“Anybody can adopt a bed from individuals to corporate. What we are doing to do is a facelift of the olden beds to replace them with user friendly ones to enhace patient care. KNH is a 2,000 bed capacity.

“I thank Harambee Sacco for the idea of adopting a bed a month and we are very delighted for their kind gesture.”

Macloud Malonza, the Harambee Sacco chairman said they will continue with their corporate social responsibility even in the coming year.

“this is in support of adopt a bed an initiative that the health facility has started. We are very delighted because we have participated in healthcare.
