Ann Njeri Kithome, a city gospel artist has spoken for the first time on why she joined the gospel music industry, the challenges she experienced, and where she is heading to.

The polite-spoken artist while speaking to a local daily said that a bombshell hit her music journey after her father passed away in 2017

“When I joined the industry, I never knew that my father will pass, I intend to touch more souls in the next five years,” she said.

She said that the first song came in a dream and she quickly wrote it down.

“The first song titled ‘MEMA’ God talked to me through a dream, I heard him and I wrote it down, I love him and I will serve him day and night,” she said.

Kithome who is in her 30s said that she was schooled in Nairobi and is well educated.

“I went to both Primary, Secondary and college, iam well educated,” she added.

She is from a humble background and she well understands how normal citizen feels.

“I am from a humble background, I ventured into music to serve God and change lives, ” she said
