Nairobi governor Ann Kananu has termed her competitors as weak and upto no task.

She has exuded confidence that she will win with a landslide.

” l am yet to see a worthy competitor to take me head on, come August 9th, Not Tim Wanyonyi,Johnson Sakaja, Agnes Kagure, or Margaret Wanjiru,” Kananu said in a tweet.

Kananu became the third governor of Nairobi after taking over from Mike Sonko who was impeached in 2020.

” Nairobians,we can do better than these people. I ‘m confident l will be elected Governor of Nairobi County by a landslide,” she added.

Kananu is battling for the Azimio La Umoja ticket and she is set to battle it out with Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi, Kenya Chambers of Commerce and Industry president Richard Ngatia and business woman Ann Kagure.

They are all banking on support from President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
