A team from Kenya Climate Innovation Center (KCIC) led by the CEO  Dr. Edward Munga, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the County Government of Uasin Gishu where they were hosted by the Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno.

The delegation discussed the progress of the AgriBiz programme in the county where the programme has incubated more than 100 youth and women in agribusiness and provided financing and technical support worth over KShs 10 million.

In the coming month, KCIC anticipates to incubate more than 100 more clients in the Uasin Gishu Business Incubation Hub that also supports clients in the neighbouring counties.

The call for applications is set to be launched before the end of September.

In attendance was Samuel Yego and Julius Rotich, the CECM and CO in charge of agriculture in the county and Felix Magaju, Jabez Mutune and Hillary Market from the AgriBiz programme
