Kirinyaga Professionals Endorse Karua

A caucus of various professionals drawn from Kirinyaga County has thrown it’s weight behind the candidature of the Honourable Martha Karua as the most qualified running mate of presidential hopeful the Rt. Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga.
At a dinner party in her honour, the professionals highlighted Ms Karua’s credentials and her iron-lady demeanor as the attributes qualifying her for the top job.
One such professional is Gichugu MP aspirant on a Narc Kenya party ticket the honourable James Gaching’a. He said, “iveb known Martha Karua for many years. I’ve never heard her being accused of corruption. Furthermore, she has been a minister for water, justice and constitutional affairs and also a Magistrate.”
Mr Gaching’a, an IT consultant, and hailing from the same constituency as Martha, strongly believes Martha is the change agent and face of women in leadership.
Another prominent legislator who has thrown her weight behind Martha is the former woman rep for Kirinyaga Hon Winnie Karimi.
“I want to demystify the myth that as women we are our own enemies. That’s not the case. We are solidly behind Martha because we believe in her bold approach and fight for democracy,” Hon Karimi who is eyeing the Mwea Constituency seat said.
