Mbiriri Vows to Serve Ngong Wholeheartedly

Mwaura Mbiriri, the newly elected Member of County Assembly for Ngong ward has alluded that he will serve his people wholeheartedly and without fear or favour.

Mr Mbiriri won the seat on an United Democratic Alliance UDA Party ticket.

In a phone interview with The Times Digital, Mr Mbiriri pledged to fastrack stalled projects and also put up policies to the benefit of Ngong people.

And on his Facebook page, hejotted,

“Watu Wa Ngong,

I greet you in the Name of the Almighty God. Let me take this moment to thank each one of you who took time to participate in the just concluded general election. I am greatly won by your love and accept your trust in me.

Whether or not you voted for me in this election, I want you to know that I am dedicated to serving you. I believe that when we work together, not as Political party candidates or Independents, but as members of one community, I know that we can accomplish great things. During these uncertain times, my highest commitment is to be your bipartisan voice in the county Assembly so that we can achieve our shared goals.

Our community is one that has been built by our compassion toward each other, our commitment to decency and Now is the time for us to be united as a community so that we can genuinely rebuild our economy, create livelihood opportunities, reduce the cost of living, and ensure that everyone of us feel part of this Ngong Community.

From this point forward, your struggles are my struggles, your concerns are my concerns, and your hopes are my hopes. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I am ready and excited to work for you. I want to be as accessible and responsive to you as possible, and I will be hosting a series of sessions to hear about the priorities you want me to begin working on when the county Assembly convenes.
