Mbogo Clarifies That They weren’t Coerced to Join UDA

Former Kenya African National Union (KANU) Nairobi branch chairman Frank Mbogo has clarified that the unprecedented step to join UDA was not out of coercion.

Mr. Mbogo an astute businessman cum politician in the City said that he felt that it would be best for him to work with the party of the day which is the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

“My main focus when I made that decision is to improve the lives of the business people in Nairobi but also assist in creating jobs especially for the youths. So I want to categorically state that I joined UDA unconditionally.

Mbogo added that he is ready to take the next huge responsibility of promoting UDA as a party to the Nairobi people.

“As the chairman alongside my members we moved as a whole to the ruling party for our best interests and those of the entire Nairobians.

We wish KANU members well in their quest for democracy since this is a constitutionally granted right.

Mr. Mbogo in conclusion thanked the United Democratic Alliance fraternity led by the secretary general Cleophas Malala for welcoming them into the party.

“We are happy for the warm welcome and we shall work together for prosperity of our country Kenya supporting the agenda of his excellency Dr William Ruto our President.”
