Mishi Mboko unveils Sh 37million bursary kitty for Likoni

Parents and guardians in Likoni will now benefit from a Sh 37million Bursary kitty unveiled by area MP Mishi Mboko.

The money is party of this years NG-CDF budget and will go along away in helping needy student as Schools reopen.

She promised to ensure only genuine students will benefit from the funds.

” Education is very important and here in Likoni we are not going to leave anyone behind.All genuine cases must be identified and given help,” she noted.

Likoni DCC Francis Kazungu who was also in attendance hailed the MP for giving education priority in her work.

” This is very commendable because education remains the key to better opportunities,” he said.

NG-CDF board members, parents and teachers from various High Schools in Likoni Sub-county were also present

Parents and Guardians have been urges to visit NG-CDF offices to verify names of students and later on to confirm with their respective schools.
