Muiu Welcomes Female CS Nominees

Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chairperson Rahab Muiu has welcomed the nomination into Cabinet of at least ten female leaders terming it as a great milestone in the quest for gender representation at all tiers of the Government.
Mrs. Muiu termed this as a step in the right direction and also congratulated His Excellency President Dr William Ruto for keeping his word pertaining inclusivity of women in his Administration.
“We are happy for all the women leaders who have been considered in the various cabinet nominations pending the approval by the National Assembly. Of particular interest to us is the nominee for water Honorable Alice Wahome who was a Maendeleo Champion and what we are requesting her is to give the opportunity for another Maendeleo star to shine in Kandara,” Muiu noted
She was however quick to task all the Cabinet Secretaries to perform in whatever docket they have been assigned and not to let the women of Kenya down.
“All we want for them is to deliver especially to Wanjiku and to the people of Kenya at large. We know they have been handpicked out of meritocracy and so we expect them to exceed our expectations and if possible do exploits in honor of all the women and indeed Kenyans in general.”
