“In Kibwezi West, the NG- CDF committee are currently conducting public participation to identify priority projects. The turn out in the meetings is very huge.

This confirms the centrality of CDF in propelling development at the grassroots.

Students from poor backgrounds who completed their class 8 studies have hope of transiting to secondary schools. The biggest chunk of the NG- CDF allocation will go bursaries and building laboratories for Junior secondary schools.”

“As MP, I will robustly play my role of representation to make sure funds are applied only to projects identified by the people and that have maximum impact ti their lives. I will also make sure locals feel the socio- economic impact engaged in the procurement and other processes. Similarly, I will also play my oversight role to make ensure accountability and value for money.”
