Local Retail chain Naivas Supermarket has launched their annual Christmas Campaign popularly referred to as Kikwetu.

This year’s Christmas campaign marks the 11th edition since the launch of the first Kikwetu in 2011.

Kikwetu which simply translates to “our way”has endeavored over the years to remain authentically Kenyan while delivering memorable experiences to customers through thematic campaigns during the festive season.

The campaign this year is dubbed “Krismas Kilocol with the tagline being “shinda kokote, sherehekea Kikwetu”.

The campaign, as has been in the past 2 years, is anchored on the Naivas Reward card program.  Other than earning points, reward Card holders will be eligible to win instant gifts either a gift voucher or a goat at the till every time they shop and present their card.

“Through research and insights, we have come to appreciate that a majority of Kenyans would rather have giveaways smaller in value but very well spread out to allow more people to enjoy. This is truly the Kenyan hospitality which we tapped into as we settled on the giveaways. We shall be having 400 gift vouchers per day each worth Kshs. 2,000 to be won for 52 days across all our current 77 branches and all the upcoming branches that will be opened before Christmas of 2021. Further to the gift vouchers, we shall have over 900 of our iconic mbuzis being won throughout the 12 days of Christmas,” said Willy Kimani, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer.

He added that, it is not lost on the retailer that 2021, has been a tough economic year and to ensure that the festive cheer is spread to all, it has planned 9 weeks of exceptional sales promotions throughout the Krismas Kilocol campaign truly living up to its brand promise of saves you money.

This has been made possible through support from our partners, who have seen to it that our customers enjoy great value across all categories ranging from fresh produce, daily groceries and non-food products.
