Zuchu, the Wasafi new signee has managed to get the Best Newcomer award in just 9months of her music career. This is an achievement most musicians get after 10 or even more years of their musical journey.

The Tanzanian based singer who is also Khadija Kopa’s daughter took to her Instagram to thank East Africa for voting for her during the nominations.
“Thank you for the nominations and thank you for the award it means a whole lot to me to win this best newcomer award it feels so good and I feel grateful to be nominated among the big names in Africa,” the artist said.
