Ngatia promises 5000 jobs in Gulf region for Nairobi youth

Kenya Youth face a bright future after they were assured of plum Jobs in Saudi Arabia.

Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president Richard Ngatia has promised five thousand professional jobs in Saudi Arabia.

He said once elected Nairobi Governor at the August 9th, 2022 general elections,he will change the lives of the youth by engaging them with projects that will generate money to sustain their families.

Speaking at a public rally in Pipeline, in Nairobi’s Embakasi South, in a bid to popularise his candidature to be Nairobi’s fourth governor, Ngatia said that his administration will identify youths in different professions and allocate them jobs in the gulf country. Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KNCCI and the Federations Council of Saudi Chambers (FCSC) in the Saudi Arabia.

“I want you to give us 5000 youths from Nairobi so that we can get them jobs in Arab world. We have an agreement to have our youths get jobs there which we signed with the Federations Council of Saudi Chambers,” The KNCCI boss said.

Ngatia, a business mogul in the city, who also chairs the Great Lakes Region Private Sector Forum- which brings together 12 countries in the Lake Victoria basin said that his administration will focus on economic empowerment and getting jobs for the Nairobi population which is a key driver to achieving his target.
