One Girl Can is thrilled to announce their 8th annual leadership conference, Becoming the Best
Version of Me, from September 30th to October 2nd 2022 at Pride Inn Azure, Nairobi. The
conference brings together 130 One Girl Can university scholarship students, from across
Kenya, gathering for a weekend of inspiration and personal growth.

In attendance at the conference are several, local and international, high-profile business
women who share their experience, providing career guidance and advice on achieving
financial independence. As the attendees prepare for graduation, they learn what roadblocks
to expect, how to manoeuvre around them and how to stay confident in a job market still
predominantly led by men. They will be taught the value of networking, the importance of
community and how to build their personal brand. A highlight of the weekend will be the
keynote address by renowned Senior News Anchor and Managing Editor of Citizen Television,
Jamila Mohamed.

After two years of hosting the conference virtually, Founder of One Girl Can, Lotte Davis, is
excited to be back in-person in Nairobi “The impact of personal mentoring, coaching and
storytelling from successful women who have paved the way — there is no substitute for that
kind of empowerment at start of a young woman’s career. This unique human element is what
inspires each student to become successful themselves and continue to pay it forward.”
