PENDING BILLS PAYMENTS
Nairobi Governor H.E Mike Sonko and the Nairobi City County Government wishes to notify all Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that, the County Government has started the process of paying all pending bills for SMEs that were cleared by the Auditor General and the pending bills special committee appointed by H.E the Governor to review and clear pending bills from previous administrations.
The payments will be done in the 2020/21 financial year to all the SMEs that were cleared for payment in order to cushion the traders from the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
NB: However, the Nairobi City County Government and H.E the Governor would like to inform all the suppliers and contractors, that they are not required to pay or give kickbacks in order to receive their payments. All corruption cases resulting from the pending bills will be reported to relevant authorities for action.
