Peter Kimari Bets on Development Record to Retain MP Seat

Mathioya MP Peter Kimari is confident that he will retain the seat come 9th of August.

 The industrious, dedicated and focused MP, seeking re-election on a Jubilee party ticket believes that his personal touch with his people on the ground will without an aorta of doubt be his greatest asset.

Today he Launched phase 3 of Kazi Mtaani Program today at Kîrîainî.

The program Will benefit 750 youths Who are drawn from different part of his Constituency. It will run for the next three months.

Honorable Kimari has also been taking education seriously with prudent bursaries disbursement. He has also offered full sponsorship to a total of 105 students this year.

For women, he also has a basketful of goodies.

Kimari told The Times that he has been facilitating trainings and partnership with other organizations on how to access credit facilities to buy tanks for residents.

“I have encouraged them to also apply for Constituency Women Enterprise Funds which can form part of the start-up capital for the program and equally carry out other projects like table banking, poultry, dairy farming, goat keeping, hiring tents etc.”

He was recently cleared by IEBC to vie for Parliamentary seat for the second term.

Speaking shortly after being cleared, he said “We have achieved Alot and we have much in store.

Will be canvassing the ground for 2 months seeking re-election as well as fast tracking ongoing  development project.”
