Sense International in New Disability Inclusion Program for Youths

A non governmental organization has come out to support persons with disabilities in a bid to empower them.
The organisation called sense international and was present at the inaugural Deafblind International conference at the Kenya Institute of Special Education.
The Director highlighted the need for proper inclusion of persons with disabilities through empowering them with special hands on skills
He is a believer that disability is not inability. He urged all stakeholders to continue supporting pwds in the society.
To prove that the director recently launched the InBusiness programme, led by Light for the World (LFTW) in partnership with Sense International (SI), Humanity & Inclusion (HI) and United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK), supports micro-enterprises owned by people with disabilities to grow, develop or sustain their businesses.
This is done through business training, provision of business growth kits, promoting reasonable accommodation and accessibility, advocating for a more inclusive procurement and business environment and linking entrepreneurs to market and procurement opportunities.
Through this initiative, we are looking for young people with disabilities to be part of its #DisabilityInclusion work in the communities that we serve.
