Troubled Jimi Wanjigi Ditched ODM for Safina Party

Former Orange Democratic Movement presidential aspirant Jimmy Wanjigi has shifted camp and joined Safina Party ahead of party primaries.
Wanjigi revealed that Safina Party will be his party of choice in the forth coming August 9th 2022 general elections.
Safina Party Leader Paul Mwite welcomed Wanjigi into the party and urged young people to join the political party in a bid to champion for change in the country.
“Our path for Democracy will not be stopped. Our Dream for the Economic Liberation of Kenyans is more alive than ever & we will achieve that in the Safina Party. The Ark has left the dock & our destination is the Presidency of this great Republic,” said Wanjigi.
In attendance alongside the party leader was Fred Wamangata the party’s secretary general
Jimi stated that he chose to join Safina Party because of its ideology and noted that having Mwite as their party leader will give them wisdom on how to sail through the third liberation which will be actualized.
Safina party will have their National Delegates Conference on 21st March where they will reveal their flag bearer.
