Abdullahi Gabane for Garissa Township MP

With the political temperatures reaching fever pitch at the Garissa Parliamentary seat, various aspirants are throwing their hats in the ring aiming to succeed Aden Duale who was nominated as the Cabinet Secretary for Defence in President William Ruto cabinet.

“I first of all wish to congratulate our President Dr William Ruto and his entire government…from Garissa here we are particularly thankful for his excellency for showing concern and inclusivity by elevating our very own Aden Duale to the position of Cabinet Secretary for Defense. As a qualified medical doctor with a wealth of experience, I strongly believe and have no aorta of doubt that I am the best suited for the MP seat, Garissa Township Constituency.

Given the chance, some of the key priority areas include immediate focus on addressing the drought situation which has continued to wreck havoc and claim thousands of lives of our livestock which is the only source of livelihood for our people. We understand that drought has been cyclic in our Northern Kenya Frontier and that it requires an urgent solution.

Other than the drought Dr. Gabane is a believer that charity begins at home and as a medical doctor he will use his leverage to improve on the health situation of his people. He believes healthcare should be accessible and affordable whenever needed since it’s a right firmly entrenched in the Constitution.

Thirdly he will also focus on youths empowerment because of talent nurturing so that by tapping on their talents and strengths, they can be equipped with the requisite facilities to enable them become active members of the society and exploit their full potential.

He came a close second in the recently concluded polls and he is strongly confident of a win in the upcoming by election.
