Ananda Marga mission celebrates International Mothers day in style

The International Mothers day was celebrated in style at the Nairobi’s Mountain View based Ananda Marga mission(AMM) with a message of peace being the major highlight of the day.

The missions chairman and spiritual leader Dinesh Marga called upon Kenyan’s to maintain peace as the country prepares for the forthcoming National election set for August.

Marga joined over 2500 slum dwellers and residents of Kangemi and surrounding areas in marking the historical day.
The beneficiaries who lined up as early as 4am with long queues stretching to several kilometers benefited with food stuffs like Maize floor, Bread, Bananas,milk Cabbages, and blankets among others.

[11:07 am, 12/05/2022] Fred Maingi: Marga who has endeared himself to the needy and the less fortunate said its only peace that can make a country economy become stable.

The spiritual leader called upon stakeholders and private institutions to come together and rescue the less fortunates with whatever little to save a life.

Food beneficiaries who were interviewed lauded Dinesh Marga for taking care, feeding, educating and clothing those who are faced with hunger, starvation, school dropouts including street children (chokoras).

Those interviewed gave harrowing and chilling stories of how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected their families with one mother claiming how her husband abandoned her and disappeared leaving her with her children after life became unbearable.

“God has been very good for us during the dreaded Covid period by giving us our spiritual father (Dinesh Marga) who has helped us with food, We really thank him and plead with our local leaders to emulate him ” she noted.
