This came in the backdrop of a heightened campaign Christened “Chagua Mama Chagua Amani.”
Susan Kihika of Nakuru, Fatuma Achani of Kwale, Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay, Kawira Mwangaza of Meru, Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos and Cecily Mbarire of Embu now join Anne Waiguru in the elite group of female governors.
In her Facebook page, Hon Annie Wanjiku Kibeh jotted “The future is Female. Congratulations Nakuru County for believing in women power. Congratulations too to the seven (7) Female Governors so far elected.”
