Bidco Hold Bandari to a 1-1 Draw at Mombasa Sports Club

Bandari Football Club moved to the second place in the Kenya premier league table standing after playing to a 1-1 draw against Bidco United F.C. during a Football Kenya Federation premier league match played at the famous Mombasa Sports Club in Mombasa county, which is a temporary venue.

The visiting team came from behind to equalize through a penalty shot taken by Emmanuel Mogaka in the second half of the match.

The home team scored their opening goal through their captain Andrew Juma from a corner kick taken by Bandari FC player William Waridi.

Both teams wasted scoring opportunities during the match which would have gone either way before the final whistle.

With the outcome of the match the port boys have dislodged Tusker Football Club from their standing on the league table with one point difference.

Tusker have a match at hand when they face Talanta FC.

The coastal based club will host their home matches at the Mombasa Sports Club which is their temporary base less than one kilometer away from Mbaraki Sports club which is their traditional home ground which is undergoing major renovations.
