Bishop Calls on Kenyans to be Brother’s Keeper

Even as the cost of living continue to skyrocket, Kenyans have been implored upon to be their brothers/ sister’s keeper. This is the advice of Apostle Simon Kamau of Christian Worship International Ministries.
The Man of God expressed his concern over the ravaging drought and famine that has devastated some parts of the country especially Lodwar, Wajir, and indeed the North Eastern Region at large.
It’s for this reason that the Prelate took an unprecedented step to champion a worthy cause of donation of food relief.
“You’re welcome to give whatever you can afford, whether cash or even dry foodstuffs like cereals. These will go a long way in making someone needy to have a decent meal. It’s not good to eat to your full when your needy brother is sleeping hungry,” The Apostle urged.
The noble cause calls upon volunteers and well wishers to show an act of kindness and compassion. In his Landmark Sermon at Kianyaga CWIM church, the Apostle called upon congregants to show each other mercy just as the Lord is merciful.
“Men and women all over our community are now watching seriously on our conduct, actions, patience, long suffering, love, hope in the midst of crisis and our response when fingers are pointed at us saying where is your God now. Let keep faith knowing that there is one who recommend us and His name is Jehovah God Almighty who sees in secret and will reward us openly. Our Christian living is being tested and manifested in reality in the crisis that is all over.”
Apostle Kamau also called upon the politicians to prioritize on the welfare of Kenyans and address their most pressing needs which is food and basic necessities. He also cautioned them to shun divisive politics, hate speech, or even violence as we gear up towards the General Elections which is just 50 days away.
