Bishop Kamau Crowned with an Honorary Degree

The Apostolic Bishop of Christian Worship International Ministries Dr. Simon Kamau Mukono is the latest entrant in the category of the highly respected class of Honorary Degree Holders

Dr. Kamau, in a thanksgiving ceremony at his Kianyaga Home, could not hide his joy.

He was installed by The Principal of New Omega Star College, an affiliate of Vision International University in America.

“I’m very honoured to have received this honor today. I dedicate this accolade to all my congregants who have been Very supportive. I’m calling upon other clergy leaders to also embrace schooling. It’s important to further studies so that you can have a new perspective of the evangelistic mission,” he said.

Apostle Dr. Simon Kamau Mukono, the Apostolic Bishop of Christian Worship International Ministries. He was crowned with the prestigious Doctorate Degree.

On his part Reverend Professor Knox Karanja, the principal New Omega Star College, underscored the need for every person to embrace the opportunity to learn.

“We offer affordable and accessible learning and geographical boundaries are not an impediment to us. We also charge very affordable rates to ensure even those in the lowest socioeconomic strata can be included.”

On her part, Dr. Rahab Gathuci, a doctor of Clinical Psychology, also emphasised that education is the only way to change a society for positive transformation

“You cannot compare the thinking of a learned person with that of someone who has never gone to school. Even the way they assess and execute basic life issues is totally different. This is therefore a clarion call to every leader and not just the Clergy , to embrace learning,” the don who teaches at Mt. Kenya University noted.
