Kenyans have been urged to remain prayerful even after the general elections are over and return to normalcy witnessed.

Kenya Assemblies of God Bishop Simon Kieru urged also those whose victory was postponed by virtue of votes not sufficing to accept the outcome and move on.

“It’s true that in any contest there must be a winner and a loser. I’m calling upon those who lost to join hands with the elected leaders and work together for progress of our Nation,” the Bishop urged.
At the same time Bishop Kieru took time to congratulate the President Elect Dr. William Ruto.

“The Bible commands us to respect and honor the anointed Kings and now that Dr. Ruto is our King, we shall accord him all the necessary cooperation and support.

Bishop Kieru also thanked the church for remaining prayerful and even urged it to continue with the same momentum or even accelerate it.
