Little, Africa’s leading superapp platform, today announced the launch of its venture into Electric Vehicle mobility with its Little EBIKE, power-assisted electric bikes, and scooters.

Set to release over 200 Little EBIKEs are designated spots around Nairobi. From Tourist spots, Estates, Universities, and Parks, E-Bikes will be accessible from the Little App.

The two-wheelers will be fitted with a geofence, a location-based technology that restricts movements or uses within a virtual perimeter.

Little E-Bikes

Being mostly built from easily recyclable materials like aluminum, and steel Little E-Bikes intends to reinforce its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and its environmental footprint.
The motor-assisted vehicle speed is 25 km/h.
Little E-bike has a range of up to 65 km on a single charge.
Nairobi city will have over 200 bikes for use in selected areas.

The E-bikes are limited to a speed of 25 km/h. The users are recommended to bring and wear a helmet for safety.

How to get started on the Little E-Bikes

Little’s mission is to revolutionize the way you move by making it fast, affordable, easy to use for everyone, and safe. To get started, you’ll need the Little super app. Follow these steps to get started:

Open the Little app and tap on Order Ride.
Click on the E-Bike Icon.
Carefully read through the safety tips and agree to the terms of use.
Select your preferred pickup time and location
Specify the duration of usage and drop of point
Tap Book Ebike and you are all set to go the E-Way the ebike will be delivered to your pickup point.
