Education Stakeholders Lauded for Girl Child Initiatives

The Government and stakeholders in the education sector have been lauded for their tireless efforts to keep girls in school.

This according to the Chairlady Forum for African Women Educationalists FAWE (FAWE) Vihiga Chapter Dr. Margaret Ndanyi there are a lot of girels in school now due to the initiaEducation tives

 “I take this opportunity to thank the government for its commitment to end early marriages and take girls to school. This should be the way to progress,” she said.

Dr. Ndanyi also thanked the Vihiga woman representative Beatrice Adagala for her tireless efforts to end Teenage pregnancies in the county through establishment of a rescue center where girls can access education

She spoke in the side-lines of Forum for African Women Educationalists FAWE in Radisson blu Upperhill.

The forum saw the launch of Imarisha Msichana under the mantra “her education her future”
