Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant Tim Wanyonyi has received a boost in his quest to be the next City governor after endorsement from the Agikuyu Community.

The Westlands Legislator  has been meeting various groups in the city as a new strategy to ganner for votes.

In his pledge to the community Wanyonyi said that he was going to lower taxes and create an enabling environment for business growth in the county.

“Once I get into office I will ensure I set aside areas where small business people can undertake their operations. We can’t be be taxing people whom we are not offering services to,” said the lawmaker.

Wanyonyi says once in office, he will push for BRT to be rolled out in all parts of the city unable to cope with the ever-increasing traffic jams in the city.

Having served Westlands for 15 years both as a councillor and an MP, Wanyonyi feels it’s time he takes his leadership skills to the big office in town at City Hall.
