Kaberere Handed Greenlight to vie in Kandara

Kandara parliamentary aspirant Julius Kaberere is assured that his name will be on the ballot come August and this is after the PNU Party handed him the certificate. The technocrat cum philanthropist is seeking to unseat the incumbent, Alice Wahome.

“I now received a certificate of being duly nominated to contest the Kandara Parliamentary Seat under the banner of the Party of National Unity (PNU)… Kazi Iendelee,” Mr Kaberere said shortly after receiving nomination certificate from PNU Secretary General.

Mr. Kaberere’s accolade match the task he is seeking. An experienced Humanitarian professional who is skilled in management and co-ordination of donor funded programmes within National and International organizations in UK, Kenya and overseas.

His areas of work has included, NGO/Civil Society capacity building, agriculture and economic development, children & youth programming, strategic planning; Fundraising and proposal development, disaster risk reduction and disaster management, program formulation, monitoring & evaluation.

He is also a highly proficient at group facilitation & counselling; public speaking; inter-agency negotiation; team building & conflict resolution; report writing & networking. He has also proven competence as team leader and trainer using participatory, people-centered approaches.

Some of the already programs he is running in Kandara include Chance for Children in Africa through which children from less privileged background are given a chance to exploit their potential.
