Kwa Njenga MCA Elect Attributes Success to Resilience

Francis Kiragu Kimondo is the member of county assembly elect for Kwa Njenga ward.
Kimondo won despite many failed starts owing to the bungled nomination process that saw him resort to vying on an independent ticket with which he won.
“if I was a weakling I could have given up because of the myriad of frustrations. From being denied a ticket firstly by Jubilee, to being denied victory in the nominations and off course wading in the murky political waters needs someone with the tenacity of a bulldog.”
The answered prayer for Mr Kimondo is that he is now the bonafide member of county assembly elect for Mukuru Kwa Njenga inspite of the bumpy journey he had to endure. It’s true to say that politics is not for the fainthearted.
“As one of the structure owners of this informal settlement, I’m very thankful for all the voters in this cosmopolitan ward. Top on my priority is to ensure infrastructure development, boost insecurity, youth Empowerment through cottage industries and foster growth for business to prosper. We know there are pending land cases in Mukuru but I promise to solve them once and for all. Kwa Njenga is a very potential area and as such we shall work to empower youth with Uwezo Fund so that they can become prosperous,” he said.
He also called upon his competitors to agree to join hands for the benefit of Mukuru people through service delivery.
