Raila’s Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition has settled on Makongeni Mca Peter Imwatok its majority leader.

Show down now looms in the Nairobi County Assembly when the Mcas holds their first sitting session next week Tuesday.

Speaker Ken Ngo’ndi faces a hard task to determine whether Kenya kwanza or Azimio coalition will be majority in the House.

According to sources, President William Ruto is keen on ensuring Kenya kwanza MCAs become the majority in the House, while Azimio minority.

The Azimio MCAs are now worried with the recent developments, fearing that Speaker Ng’ondi may be compromised and make a ruling that will favor the Kenya Kwanza MCAs.

“Our speaker from what we are seeing, he may be compromised and make Kenya kwanza majority in this house,” the MCA said.
