Nairobi To Get Rid of Garbage in 2 Weeks

The Nairobi City will be a haven to live, work and enjoy in a span of two weeks when the exercise of clean up will culminate. Garbage management is one of the key priority agenda of Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja who led and oversaw garbage collection yesterday at the heart of the City.
On Sunday, a spot check by The Times Online confirmed that the clean up has begun to redeem the lost glory of Nairobi. The exercise was in top gear in the streets of Haile Selassie and Racecourse which were initially heavy laden with trash.
Kevin Oloitiptip is the manager in charge of environment and he told the Time Online that they are eyeing to create public awareness and enforcement so that the newly assented to law of sustainable waste can be actualised.
“We shall arrest and prosecute offenders under the solid waste act. Our city Should remain clean and habitable, Mr Oleitiptip said
