Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has been put to task to hasten his Constitutionally stipulated mandate to swear in and gazette elected Members of County Assembly.

It’s now two months since the general elections and nothing of substance has taken place.

According to Speaker Hopeful Ken Ngondi there is mischief in the tactful delays by Sakaja

“Let Sakaja come out clearly and say what is not happening. Why is it that despite Wanjiku fulfilling her Constitutional duty by electing the MCAs, the House Business is yet to start? Yet, most counties conducted their initial businesses yesterday and today whereby they elected the Speaker?”

Mr Ngondi reads foul play with some sources alluding that they are plans to poach Azimio affiliated members in order for the Kenya Kwanza faction to strike a majority. But Mr Ngondi urged members to remain firm and reject any offers in exchange of being coerced

“Azimio is still commanding the majority in The Nairobi County assembly and however much they try to coerce our members to join their bandwagon, they won’t succeed. All their efforts are going to be futile,” Mr Ken observed

Ken Ngondi, an eloquent, focused and brilliant mind who is hands on in whatever he executes, has the blessings of the Azimio alliance to be the Speaker of the Assembly.

A former Member of County Assembly for Kware, Mr Ngondi believes he has what it takes to steer the house business objectively and meet the expectations of all Nairobians.
