A bright smile always welcomes you at the reception of veteran medical physician [Dr] Joab Bosman Wasunna [JB] at his private clinic in Mombasa.

This was among the tributes made during a requiem mass service held at the Anglican Church of Kenya [ACK] Mombasa Memorial Cathedral in Mombasa county.

The burial is set to take place this weekend [Saturday] at Nyawita village, Maseno.

Medical practitioners, the legal fraternity and friends were among the mourners who sat attentively for two hours to follow the funeral service presided by St John ACK Church Vicar Josphat Murutu.

The warm reception with a smile makes one forget that one is unwell and has gone to seek for medical attention. The deceased was eulogized as a disciplined person who loved knowledge.

ACK Mombasa diocese diocesan registrar Festus Kiseu conveyed Mombasa ACK diocese bishop Alphonce Mwaro Baya’s message of condolence to the bereaved family and also from the Cathedral fraternity.

The deceased’ son-in-law counsel Patrick Ochwa moved the mourners when he revealed that he was one time his patient at the clinic only to later become his father-in-law.

One time Alego legislator Edwin Yinda was in attendance.
