Azimio leader Raila Odinga urged leaders elected on Azimio’s ticket to stand firm and in solidarity behind his leadership.

He said he is sure as to where he was heading with his countrywide anti-President William Ruto crusade and rallies.

“I want leaders who will stand with me and I will not allow traitors to be with me,” he added.

Raila insisted the route he has taken is tough and he won’t allow traitors to walk with him in his quest.

He was speaking in his native language during the burial service for former Education  Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha at Maseno University Akang’o Campus in Yala township, Gem constituency, Siaya county.  The burial took place at Umiru village in Nyaminia.

The Azimio leader reminded mourners that he is optimistic he will sail through and warned party traitors they are at liberty to quit the party to be able to make their own choices.

He said he is ready to walk with people who have a political stand and he will not  allow traitors in his journey.

“Let me remind you that I am happy to be here to console the bereaved family,” he pointed out.

The Azimio leader added he was happy to be among the mourners to attend the burial of Magoha and send him off.

He pleaded with the mourners to bear with him as he won’t talk more despite mounting pressure to talk politics.
